"I'll ask my teacher"

I knew this day would come, but I never dreamed it would come this soon: the day where a child thinks that their teacher, not their parents, has all the answers.  Well...it happened to me today.  As Hailey and I were on the way to the store she asked me a question: What things come but never come back?  (She was asking because she wanted her hiccups to go away. but then never come back, and I have told her that hiccups are something that could come back.) Well I was coming up a blank, so I told her I would think about her question and let her know when I though of an answer. Yep...she one-upped me. Her response: "I'll ask my teacher about that when I go back to school.  I bet she'll know." Oy vey! lol
