So I've had it marked on my calendar: Monday, August 15th: My friend Tonya arrives in Seattle! Well, things obviously didn't go as planned. Tonya's flight was cancelled, but she was scheduled to come in today instead. So at about 12:30, her pane landed and Hailey and I zoomed off to the airport to pick her up. I was amazed at how quickly Hailey picked right back up with her like she is around all the time, as we don't see her but twice a year since she moved to Vermont. Anyway...we drove Tonya out to Puyallup so that she could pick up her rental car, and then headed back home to visit for a couple of hours. Hailey and tonya played airport while we caught up on the latest happenings, and then we took our gossiping outside while Hailey played in the sprinkler-Tonya got in on a little sprinkler action too, lol. Then Tonya was off to visit more friends and I was off to Jazzercise. We did make plans for tomorrow though (Wed. Aug. 17th).
