This summer the weather hasn't cooperated much for the swimming pool. When it has though (the 3 times, I think) we've blown up the kiddie pool out back and Hailey loves to go in it and play around with her boats and toys. She hasn't been in a 'big' pool since we've moved out of the apartments about a year and a half ago. She used to love going in there with us and just tooling around on her 'boat' and she's always loved water. So today we ventured to my mother-in-laws apartments to use her pool. Hailey loved it!!! We got her this puddle jumper (I think that's what it's called) that has arm floaties attached to a life vest-well the tummy part, anyway. We started to teach her how to swim and she started doing really well.- although the puddle jumper, being it was only on the front half of her body- tended to bring her to an upright position, which makes it a bit harder to swim. Be she loved trying! In fact, she liked it so much, that when she was shivering in the water with huge goosebumps on her legs, she still was refusing to get out and get dressed. She jumped in one more time and we promised her that we could come back another day-she was happy with that! :)

Not the best video (this was right before we got out, so Hailey was pretty cold and tired)...but you get the idea! She was also distracted by the blue line on the bottom of the pool, lol-you'll hear her ask me what that is in the video, and then she had a hard time regaining her momentum, lol :)
