Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the mommies out there, new and old.  I hope you are enjoying your special day with your little ones :-)  Here is a rare sight to be seen at our house: a picture with me in it, lol.  This is my beautiful reason that allows me to celebrate this wonderful day!

And here's a funny story from today:
This morning we went out to breakfast.  There was a little baby laying in an infant carrier in the booth behind us.  Hailey had fun looking at the baby and saying hi.  We've been talking a lot about babies in the tummy lately, as 2 of my coworkers are pregnant (well, 1 now...Baby Heidi made her grand appearance on April 28th :-)   Anyway, in the car on the way home, out of the blue, Hailey said "mommy, I want you to have a baby in your tummy"  Ha!  My jaw dropped and I tried not to laugh too loudly.  I asked her to repeat what she said to make sure that I heard her correctly, and she said the same thing again.  So...Brian asks her "you mean you want a little baby brother or sister?"  And she didn't hesitate at answering the question at all and said a definite "YES!" 
I'm sure it's one of those conversations that is funnier if you were there and in the moment, but it just took me by surprise.
