1 more sleep!
Gosh, I feel like a little kid waiting for Santa to arrive. Is it Christmas tomorrow!?!? No...but something just as fun. Tomorrow is the day we've been waiting for...we go back tot he doctor for our BIG ultrasound where we will hopefully get to find out if this baby is a little boy, or a little girl. I have my thoughts on the subject, but will keep them to myself at this point. :-) hehe! Well....I'm going to finish up some cleaning, and then go to bed early tonight so I'm well rested for tomorrow. Big day-doctor appointment and then a fun play-date planned with Jenny and Heidi, and Stacy, Kaden, and Lexi. Can't wait for it all! :-)

Snowpocalypse 2012
Okay...as promised, here are the pictures of the fun times we had in the snow. And what a snowstorm it was. I would say we had about 7 inches of snow in our backyard...it was crazy!! Hailey absolutely LOVED the snow and would have stayed out in it all day if we would have let her. But alas, Mommy and Daddy said that we didn't need her getting sick or getting frostbite or anything so we made her come in, lol. During the snowstorm, we enjoyed many family walks through the neighborhood, walking to Camelot Elementary school for some snow play, as well as sledding at Camelot. A couple of snowmen were even created! All in all it was a blast UNTIL.....the dreaded ice storm (see previous post), the lack of power for about 28 hours, and the fact that I will have to make up 3 snow days in June, as I was off all week. Oh well! Winter has definitely arrived, and it has made quite the statement. I wonder what the rest of the Winter will bring...hmmm.....
Glad we got some snow. It sure was fun! Next time we get snow I sure hope we don't lose power again.

Snowpocalypse 2012 turns to ice storm of 2012
Making this a short entry as I am sitting here with ice blocks for fingers and toes. Was going to post yesterday with all of our fun snow pictures, but lost power early in the day. Started getting really cold in here, so we hightailed it to a hotel for the next 2 days. Came back this afternoon and found we do have power back...yay! But it is a chilling 42 degrees in here. We will still be going back to the hotel tonight because it was already booked for 2 nights. Upon coming back, we found that we fared better than most of our neighbors. We only had 1 tree limb fall...so far. We'll see what happens after tonight though, as we're supposed to get some pretty strong winds. I was absolutely shocked that we were one of the few that got power back already...we're always last. And there are still 225,000 PSE customers without power. Hoping they are able to find someplace to stay warm tonight. Air quality is really crappy in the neighborhood though because of all of the fireplaces that were going last night and today. On the way here it looked as though a tornado ripped through some of the streets....trees everywhere!
Okay...too cold to type anymore....here's a couple of pictures from the ice/no power storm.
Okay....heading back to the hotel. Will be back tomorrow and can update with the fun snow pictures :)

Happy New Year!
So it was pointed out to me that I should probably update my blog (thanks Tonya!) as it is no longer Halloween, lol. So...here it goes! A lot has happened in between Halloween and today, New Year's Day. So I will try to go back in time and give a brief synopsis of things that happened.
November 3rd, 2011- Brian's 33rd birthday.
Brian had already gotten a phone upgrade earlier in the year so he said to count that as his birthday gift, and that if I absolutely had to get him something, it must be homemade. Well, I'm pretty sure I nailed that one! :-) I found a frame that I had and framed a piece of scrapbook paper that read: Gift coupon, good for 1 baby, redeemable in July 2012. I also wrapped a positive pregnancy test. (surprise (well, not to us as we were trying)...we're pregnant with #2!!!!!) I was lucky enough to capture the whole gift unwrapping on video as Brian's reaction was absolutely perfect!
Thanksgiving was at the end of November and we spent it at Margie's house. Lots of food and lots of fun!
Then the Christmas season was upon us. Hailey was VERY much into it this year!!!Some highlights for December include: cutting down our Christmas tree at Coates Tree Farm, Hailey had her first sinus infection and I ended up with a sinus infection and bronchitis, which while pregnant is not fun at all!! Mine got so bad that I ended up not being able to hear out of my left ear for quite some time!(not a positive highlight, but a highlight none the less!) I finally was put on antibiotics and now feel 100% back to normal! We also got to go to our first appointment this pregnancy. This was for an ultrasound only, as I would be going back the following week for a doctor visit. Ultrasound went well, and they measured the heart rate at 178bpm-3 beats higher than with Hailey at the same time frame.
We even got a visit from our good friend Tonya....all the way from Vermont! It's always great catching up with her :-)
Alright...I think that brings us to then end of the updates. Next blog will be about current things in January.

Christmas came and went. It was a great Christmas this year. Hailey and I took a trip to Oregon for 3 days to visit my parents and my Grandma, who just had surgery-it was also her birthday while we were there. We had a fun time, and they spoiled Hailey as always!

Happy Halloween!
This year Hailey dressed up as Snow White. We started trick-or-treating at the SouthCenter Mall and then finished up in a neighborhood near ours. Hailey had an absolute blast this year and was nearly dragging us down the street to the next house, lol. We ended the night by warming up with a glass of hot chocolate. Hope everyone's night was a spooky one :-)
Pumpkin carving: Hailey decided the guts weren't that bad! :-) This year Hailey requested a spooky pumpkin!
And she painted her little pumpkin that she picked out from Terry's Berries
And trick-or-treating time:
Happy Halloween!
